How could your donation help?

• HK$180  provides healthcare services to 10 children
• HK$370  pays for sports activities for 10 children for 1 year 
• HK$550  pays for a child living in a rural mountain village to go to kindergarten for 1 year 
• HK$1,500  buys warm clothes for 10 children in our rehabilitation services
• HK$2,000  feeds a street kid 2 meals a day for 1 year 

Any amount, large or small, goes a long way in helping a child in Nepal. What it costs you for a typical lunch on any day can feed a child for 2 weeks. It’s that easy to change someone’s life.

We are always very grateful for any contribution towards our projects. However, a regular monthly or annual donation enables us to plan ahead and ensure we can give disadvantaged children the continued support they need. We will do our very best to keep in touch, so that you feel involved, enthused, and serious about the importance of our projects, and know that your contribution is helping give children back their rights.

General donations give us the flexibility to direct funds to those projects which are most in need at the time, and respond to emergency appeals from our partners. However, if you would like your donation to go towards a particular project, please let us know, and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

For HKD transfers you can deposit to our HSBC account number 083-465724-001(Swift Code: HSBCHKHHHKH • Branch - Exchange Square, Central, Hong Kong)

If you are overseas please use bank transfers to make donations. This greatly reduces the amount of fees that we are charged by the bank! We accept all major currencies.

PayPal, Credit Card or Debit Cards

Please use PayPal by clicking here. Please note the PayPal account is in HK$.  US$1 = HK$7.78.

Most countries will allow you to make a donation via PayPal without a PayPal account. However, if your country’s credit card policy requires that you must verify your account via PayPal, please be assured that it will only take a few minutes.

Receipts

We are able to issue HK and US tax deductible receipts for all donations of HK$100 and above. If you would like a US tax receipt, please make the cheque payable to “Friends of Hong Kong Charities” who will distribute 100% of your donation as a grant to CWS. FOHKC retains absolutely no donations for overhead, salaries, or administrative costs.

Please note: if you are making a donation for Freedom Care, Moonlight Foundation or Umbrella Foundation, please email info@cwshk.org and provide details of your donation so that we can ensure the funds are directed to the appropriate organisation.
