SUMMARY:Lamma Fun Day 2018
DESCRIPTION:A free music festival on the beach\, Lamma Fun Day raises money for Child Welfare Scheme Hong Kong for education and training projects in Nepal. \nLocal musicians enthusiastically volunteer their time to play at Hong Kong’s longest-running outdoor live music festival. Now with two stages\, the music line up for the 27 October 2018 event will be the best yet! Visit https://www.facebook.com/LammaFunDay for announcements. \nMarket stalls\, arts and crafts activities\, a licensed bar\, international food stalls\, arts and crafts\, beach volleyball plus football and games for kids add to the fun at this family-friendly festival. \nThe event starts with the 8km and 14 km Lamma8 and Lamma14 trail runs to the south of the island before returning to Tai Wan To Beach. Some 600 or so athletes\, corporate teams and hikers will “come for the run and stay for the fun”. \nReusing\, recycling has always been strongly encouraged at Lamma Fun Day and we try and improve each year. \nFree water is available in giant carboys\, food is served in biodegradable containers\, and drinks are discounted by HK$10 when you bring or reuse a cup at the licensed bar. Local environmental group Living Lamma and volunteers from Lamma and Hong Kong help clean the beach before and after the event. \nThis much-loved music and community event has helped raise almost HK$1.7 million since the first Lamma Fun Day in 2000. DESCRIPTION:Scheduled for Saturday 30th March 2019 the CWS City Challenge promises to be another exciting fun packed afternoon! This team challenge will put your  knowledge\,  communication  and  navigations  skills\, creativity\,  stamina  and  team  spirit  to  the  test! \nCome join the fun while supporting CWS’ efforts to support Nepal’s disadvantaged Children and Young People from Early Childhood to sustainable Livelihood.
